CASINO ROYALE is now out and is reviewed in the itsvery Movie Review Blog

The new Bond Movie Casino Royale is due to start filming in January 2006.

Daniel Craig arrived at the press conference by Speedboat and received some flak right away because he was wearing a life-vest - very un-James-Bond-like. "I'd like to thank the Royal Marines for bringing me in like that, and scaring the shit out of me," the first blonde 007 joked.

But just like James Bond, he was celebrating when he received the call confirming he got the role as James Bond. "I dropped what I was carrying. I went straight to the alcohol section and got myself a bottle of vodka, a bottle of vermouth and went back and made myself a Martini ... or two."

CASINO ROYALE will not feature James Bond regular characters Q and Ms. Moneypenny, and it shall become a darker, grittier 007 with less gadgets than usual.

And who will be the new Bond girl?

Model Kate Moss and actress Sienna Miller have been mentioned (Craig has dated Kate Moss and maybe Sienna Miller), as well as Kelly Brook and Rachel Stevens. One of the contenders for the role of Vesper Lynd is Angelina Jolie. Daniel Craig and Angelina Jolie have already performed together in LARA CROFT: TOMBRAIDER. Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie and Hollywood beauty Charlize Theron have already refused the role. Next actress wanted by the Bond producers was hot star Naomi Watts. Newest possible Bond-girls are Thandie Newton and Rose Byrne.

Bond 22

The new Bond movie, titled Bond 22 for now, will be a sequel to Casino Royale, starting "2 minutes after Casino Royale ends", according to screenwriter Paul Haggis. It will be an original story and a true sequel to Casino Royale, therefore separate in continuity from the previous Bond films.

Eva Green may have an appearance in a video message recorded prior to her demise in Casino Royale.

There will be probably four Bond girls and they are expected to be Latina actresses as a big part of the movie will play in Panama. As usual, there are lots of rumors who will play the Bond girls but no names have been confirmed yet.
