16, 1953. He moved to England, UK at an early age. His father left
the family when Pierce was still a child. He returned later, but
their relationship was never close.
Pierce Brosnans most popular film role is 007 - James Bond.
His wife of ten years (Cassandra Harris) in 1991 left him with
three children, and he has two children with his second wife Keely
Shye Smith.
Pierce Brosnan got himself a scar filming a fight scene for Tomorrow
Never Dies - he was hit by a stuntman in the face and had to be
stitched in the hospital.
The World Is Not Enough is infamous for co-starring Denise
Richards as nuclear scientist (!) Dr. Christmas Jones. Pierce
Brosnan also enjoyed the company of Oscar winner Halle
Berry as Jinx in Die Another Day.
